You may have been wondering why this blog has been silent since October 2025 ,especially after our successful ‘Hidden Gems’ exhibition at Centrespace . For a variety of reasons the group had lost members in recent years ,and despite our best efforts we were unable to attract enough new members to keep the group viable .
Textiles has a much more established place in the arts these days .In 1995 ,when GTA was established by a group of like minded individuals , it was considered as a poor relation.GTA feel proud that in thirty years of practice they have helped change that perception. Individually we will continue our practice but will no longer exist as a group .
