Carol Clark

The natural world is  a rich source of inspiration, from magnificent landscapes to individual flora and fauna.Carol has long held interest in nature and acquired a deeper understanding whilst studying Biological Sciences at Warwick University

Current inspirations come from the wildlife she sees ;

My Garden Birds -Wren

birds that visit her garden and fungi on woodland walks.

Carol enjoys experimenting to find materials and techniques to best suit the work in hand . Using  appliquéd fabric overstitched to give a feathery appearance for the birds ,and 3D work for fungi and the corresponding tree's seeds and leaves.
