Debby Bird is a mixed media artist and teacher .She often paints and dyes her backgrounds then stitches and layers other fabrics over the top .She 'draws 'with free-motion machine stitch and hand embroidery .
As a teacher Debby covers a wide range of art and textile techniques and workshops . She thinks creative confidence in design and colour are fundamental .
