Carol showed us these little fridge magnets she had made saying they're just some 'silly 'makes/They are delightful and her skill in making hides the time and effort they take to make.In addition she had made a tree ornament for her granddaughter , no pic , these are set to become a yearly addition .She had also been looking at some workshops on Stitch Club, a subscription for twice monthly workshops. TextileArtist.org She says she cannot do all of them but keeps a notebook detailing each technique.
She was also in the middle of creating this appliqué picture , auditioning threads to use for adding stitch details.
Apologies for the out of focus pictures but they had to be included .These will be exhibited in May at the Bristol Guild so you can visit and see them .These are a series of fungus which form part of the underground network with trees .These two are usually related to Oak and Beech trees ,a symbiotic relationship.
