Debby has been busy preparing some new colours in her wool berets .Each one is embroidered by hand and they are truly unique as no two are the same. These will be on sale at NSAW at the end of April.
She has had one of her bird prints transferred to a velvet fabric by Prinfab www.prinfab.com which she has made into a cushion. The colours look lovely, the photo does not do it justice.
She had recently attended a workshop run by Kate Findlay www.ArtsFindlay.co.uk where they created an embroidered piece using Lutradur .This was fashioned into a tube and they used a light changing Led kit to affix inside to shed a little glimmer.A heat gun was used to distress the edges and Debby added her own touches to the suggestions given .
She had also attended another workshop with Anne Hellyer www.paintingthetown.org.uk where light was used to good effect .This time some houses with windows that let light through.Lots of detail added here with textures in walls roofs and plants.
