Apologies but there seem to be no pictures.Carol had been along to Westbury Wildlife park for their Fungus day where families were able to join in to create 1000 clay fungi. These were then left in the woodland as a trail to follow, such a lovely idea combining making ,walking and communing with nature. She had also happened to find a lovely but tucked away gallery /shop ......Trymside Gallery .One to seek out we think.
She had been doing Alexia's workshop on Temari balls with Bristol Stitchers. It was in two parts ,first using masses of thread to first completely cover the ball ,then the really intricate part where thread is stitched to create the very intricate pattern We await the finished article !
She brought along her Garden Birds which were difficult to photograph because of a dreary day .As usual she had undervalued her exquisite work ,we encouraged her to price them more realistically for exhibition. When you buy a piece they are not mass produced and are truly 'one -off' .
