November 2023



Sue D. is thinking of sewing the outline of the shell collected at Chesapeake Bay USA and  stitching a sea scene within the shell shape.


She has been busy with a variety of projects .This little book mark has been sewn on organza and looks good from both sides .The floral pattern is an Urban Threads design.


Sue also shared the birthday card she had stitched for her Mum.Who wouldn't like to receive such a personalised card sewn with love?


She had made this lovely notebook 
cover ,the front has been machine stitched on paper Such an individual and useful ,reusable piece.


She had acquired a Richard Box kit and produced this below. We can often learn tips and tricks we can take into our own ideas.



She has been taking a course in painting with acrylics with Paul Weaver, see above and below.Sue may  use photos taken in America to inspire a new stitched piece.Often study of one  media enriches and enhances another.Aren't we lucky to be able to blur boundaries ?
