Carol’s response to Wendy Dolan’s course, inspiration is a photo taken on a bird walk near Bristol. She used the zig-setting for the first time with free machine stitching, very effective for the trees in the background and the texture on the stone wall. Wendy also showed how to draw your design on the reverse and stitch from the reverse
