Red and redder.......

Deryll had worked into her madder piece so that the stitching now stood out on the plant. She was turning her attention to how it could be backed for exhibition.Kirsten thought something like bump interlining might be sufficiently heavyweight to help keep the fabric flat.A recent update has Deryll suffering for her art as the stitching by hand is rather arduous and she can only spend about 20-30 minutes doing it at a time.

While clearing upper workspace Deryll thought it might be a good activity to create something from nothing .So she has stitched together lots of odds and ends of fabric in one colour way .

Then the surface has been embellished with stitching

ready for use in something.
